Paltronics Appoints
Director of Product Management, OEM Solutions
Chicago, IL – January 22, 2007 –Paltronics Inc., a world-leading manufacturer of centralized casino gaming system solutions and display technology, today announced that it has appointed Michael Ratner director of Product Management, OEM Solutions. He will be based in Las Vegas.
Ratner will be responsible for liaising with original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) to grow this important business by responding to their unique requirements with superior product solutions.
Ratner spent the past 5 ½ years at Atronic as product manager, North America. He managed products from “cradle to grave” including defining engineering requirements, managing product releases and end-of-life programs.
Prior to Atronic, Ratner spent 14 years on the operator side. He opened and was casino manager at the Divi Carina Bay Casino in St. Croix USVI. Previously, he held the position of gaming director for the Resort at Summerlin in Las Vegas and before that he was vice president, Slot Operations for the Treasure Bay Hotel and Casino on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
He began his career as a slot technician with Sun International in South Africa and worked his way into slot management.
Born and educated in South Africa, Ratner graduated from the South African Air Force College as a qualified Radio and Radar electronics engineer.
