FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Chicago, IL - October 20, 2004 - Paltronics Inc., a world-leading manufacturer of casino gaming systems and display technology, today announced it filed several counterclaims against Mikohn Gaming in the U.S. District Court in Nevada on Sept. 24, 2004 (amended Oct.14, 2004) for patent infringement, antitrust, tortious interference and fraud.

“We are diligently enforcing our patent rights and intend to be compensated for our damages suffered from the unauthorized use of our patented technology,” said Angelo Palmisano, president and chief executive officer of Paltronics Inc. “We further believe the allegations filed against us by Mikohn and its subsidiary Progressive Games are unfounded, and have filed a Motion to Dismiss with respect to certain claims in that case.”
