Paltronics Announces Sale to Boyd Gaming’s Blue Chip Casino
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chicago, IL - December 12, 2005 - Paltronics Inc., a world-leading manufacturer of casino gaming systems and display technology has announced that Boyd Gaming’s Blue Chip Casino, a newly constructed vessel located in Michigan City, Indiana, has purchased a Paltronics OneLink slot and media system with the latest RGB in-machine meters and EFX table displays.
The Paltronics systems, meters and table displays will be installed on the 65,000 square foot gaming floor of the new property in December. The Blue Chip Casino will open in the first quarter 2006.
Paltronics OneLink slot systems are a flexible and cost-efficient way to manage the Casino floor. They provide a way to centralize all games, allowing quick and easy controller updates for each bank of progressive machines. OneLink media systems provide a comprehensive end-to-end narrowcast system that connects all media in the property to deliver gaming excitement, such as jackpot winner announcements and customized messaging.
“We grew the company internationally at first to take advantage of some favorable legislative requirements overseas,” commented Angelo Palmisano, president and ceo of Paltronics Inc. “We have enviable market share in South Africa, Australia and Europe and are focusing now on ramping fast to serve the North American market.”
“The Paltronics technology is impressive, especially with the simple and effective way we can connect our media and slot systems for simple management and administration away from the Casino floor,” said Don Juzwiak, director of Slot Operations, Blue Chip Casino Hotel.
“Boyd Gaming is a valued customer of Paltronics and we are extremely excited about this new opportunity to provide their Blue Chip Casino Hotel in Indiana with our latest and most advanced technology”, commented Mark Wiedemer, vice president, Sales for Paltronics.
